Wise Up

16 × 18 Poster

Originally created in 1982, Wise Up stands as a message-driven work rooted in the social consciousness of early New York graffiti culture. More than an image, the piece functions as a direct call to society — urging reflection, restraint, and the pursuit of non-violent strategies in times of conflict.

“How many chances can we take?” “Create art, not war. Wise up.”

Emerging from the Golden Age of New York’s street movement, this work reflects a time when walls carried ideas and artists used public space as a platform for dialogue. Graffiti was not only a visual language but also a vehicle for commentary, where creativity intersected with social awareness.

This edition preserves the integrity of the original painting while translating its message into a collectible format, maintaining the spirit and urgency of the era in which it was created.

Limited to 50 hand-numbered prints.
